The WWDC day has a few reliable traditions. Tim says "good morning." Craig does something memeable. And every year, Basic Apple Guy drops his annual WWDC Bingo Board — a grid of predictions, hopeful wishes, and gentle jabs at Apple's stagecraft. It has become as much a part of keynote day for me as the keynote itself.
His WWDC26 board is exactly what you'd want: macOS Tiburon, a Gemini-powered Siri, homeOS finally getting previewed, a memeable Federighi moment, and the eternal "(One Last) Good Morning" free space in the middle. The board, the squares, and the whole idea are entirely his — I'm just a fan who plays along.
The thing is, in years past, "playing along" meant printing it out and crossing off squares with a pen, or worse, marking up a screenshot on my computer. It works, but it's clunky. So this year, I figured I could do something a little better.
With a little help from Claude, I turned Basic Apple Guy's board into an interactive bingo card you can play right in your browser. Tap a square as Apple announces it, and it marks itself. It detects your wins automatically — rows, columns, diagonals, and a full blackout — with a little sound and confetti when you hit BINGO. There's a shuffle button if you want a randomized card, and his bonus rule is built in too: if Apple finally bumps base iCloud storage above 5GB, it's an instant win.
If you want to know what I'm actually hoping Apple delivers this year, I wrote about that back in March — Siri actually shipping the features it promised, a Snow Leopard-style focus on stability, and a handful of small fixes that are frankly overdue.
All credit for the bingo board goes to Basic Apple Guy — go follow his work and grab his original PNG or PDF if you'd rather keep it old school. Me? I'll be tapping squares from the couch on June 8.
See you at the keynote.
