Welcome to the first post in my new series, “What’s Streaming”, where I share what I’m currently streaming. Now that the holidays are behind us, I’ve had a chance to settle back into some great TV shows and movies, and I’m excited to tell you what’s been on my screen lately.
After wrapping up holiday festivities, I found myself scrolling through Netflix for something familiar and gripping. That’s when I decided to revisit Designated Survivor, a political thriller that originally aired on television before Netflix picked up the final third season.
I had already seen the series, but my wife hadn’t, so it was the perfect opportunity to dive back into the story of Tom Kirkman, the accidental president. Watching it with her brought a fresh perspective, and I was reminded of just how intense and compelling the show is. If you haven’t seen it, it’s a fantastic mix of suspense, drama, and political intrigue.
This holiday season, Apple TV+ delivered some great entertainment for us. One standout was Bad Monkey, a quirky yet engaging series that we thoroughly enjoyed. The good news? It’s been announced for another season! I’m already looking forward to seeing where the story goes next.
We also watched Wolfs, a gripping drama with strong performances and a captivating plot, as well as The Family Plan, a lighthearted and enjoyable film that was perfect for cozying up on the couch.
Of course, no holiday season is complete without some festive cheer, and A Carpool Karaoke Christmas brought just that. It was a fun, feel-good special that captured the holiday spirit perfectly.
Streaming Ahead
